All my images, all anyone's images for that matter, are our connections to places, to people, to situations. They are discovered or planned, stumbled on or carefully staged. However we capture them or set them up, those that are the most compelling that we return to for a second or third look, to linger over, to appreciate. Something in the photograph touches us or moves us. An Italian friend of mine says, "I have to have some beauty in my life everyday." Me too.
